"I was born in California, raised in Washington, and I am blessed to live here in the most beautiful area of our country. Hiking is a favorite pastime for me; I have spent a lot of quality time at Deception Pass. Along with my dog Jasper, I explored the many miles of trails, revealing wonderfully diverse creation, and my favorite subject: birds."

"I used to draw, until I took an art class on painting. As the world came to life in endless arrays of color, I never looked back. A number of years ago I was introduced to Compassion First, a Christian organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of girls sold into the sex slave industry. Since then, my greatest joy has been to donate paintings to their banquets for the purpose of raising money, and to increase public awareness of this epidemic."

"I’ve also accepted commissions to paint for people who give 100% of profits to Compassion First. Medical issues have also been at the forefront of my artwork; I have painted to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s, breast cancer, and blindness. My best work is created when I have personal information about the subject; passion and emotion drive me to excel. I’m proud that my paintings have been shipped to every corner of our country now!"

"I’ve used Bayshore for all of my printing needs, from their nice, new scanner for canvas paintings, to prints of all sizes, to greeting cards. Michele and Elizabeth are consummate professionals. Going to Bayshore is more than just business, it’s like visiting close friends. Over the years, I’ve come to know Michele and Elizabeth personally; they are dog-friendly, and take personal time to help me understand the printing side of the art industry."

"My cards are available at Fine Feathered Friends Nature Store in La Conner, and my original paintings are on display at the Front Street Grill in Coupeville. You can also find me on Facebook!"

We always look forward to the days that Ed comes into the graphics department. His work consistently puts us in awe. His kind heart is very well reflected in his work. We greatly enjoy printing note cards and giclées of his art. Be sure to make a trip to the local shops he sells at to get some of his wonderful pieces for yourself!
